Q: Where are you based out of?
I’m based out of south Orange County, California in a city called Mission Viejo.

Q: How would you describe your music?
My most recent project was my EP titled “Isn’t It Beautiful?” that I started writing in April of this year and released it in the beginning of September. It’s pretty much just a small compilation of easy-going and better vibes because I experienced a cool breakthrough mentally and emotionally and just overall felt happier and more positive.

Q: Any new projects you're working on?
I honestly have a bunch of songs ready to be released, and even more demoed out, but I don’t have a set plan for a specific project. I really need to get organized and throw them together, so maybe something soon.

Q: What is your favorite part about making music?
My favorite part of making music has to be just having the homeboys over, cracking open a few brews, and just jamming something myself while we all kick it since I perform all the instruments myself for now. My writing process is pretty laid back most of the time because I have all of my own gear at my place and can do as I please. It’s nice. I love finishing a song and teasing it forever with no plans of releasing it too, why am I like this.

Q: What is the biggest challenge you face when it comes to writing/recording new music?
Honestly, I feel like I suck at writing lyrics most of the time. I can write instrumentals all day, but lyrics are just my weak point and I feel like I sing about the same stuff too much, but oh well.

Q: What are some of your biggest musical inspirations?
My biggest inspos right now definitely have to be Fidlar, The Frights, some Sad Girl, and a little bit of The Growlers. Fidlar was actually one of the reasons I picked up the guitar so I could learn one of their songs for my girlfriend at the time. These bands inspire me because it’s like they’re not worried about perfection, musically, and just sing/scream it all out there.

Q: Anything else you’d like to say to the pretty people out there?
I don’t know man, just be yourself dude and stop trying to be someone else. I know that’s been said a thousand times but it’s like people are still trippin over it. Don’t forget to get out there, do you, and live a little bit too. It’s easy to get caught up trying to fit in, worry about what’s next for you, or overwork yourself, trust me I know. But yeah, just learn to slow it down, do your best to find something you appreciate in life, and go from there, it can set you on a good path.
